Jun 16, 2010 · I have two sets of M5JR+ series II, the main diff is mine have the SL2500 tweeters. I love them and use them as rear and side surrounds in an all Polk psudeo vintage HT system. They voice match well with the Monitor 7C's and RTA12C's Is used as center and mains.

The cabinets are in pretty good shape, the foams are good and the tweeters aren't pushed in or anything. I'm currently running Boston Acoustic A60 series II's as well as Cambridge Audio Model Sixes on another system.

Oct 2, 2007 · We are using a pair of Polk 5 Jrs in my son's set up. They do sound good at up to medium volume and bass is not their strong point. Also, the small footprint of these speakers makes them well-suited when space is at a premium. Downstairs, I have both Monitor 10s and 7s getting regular duty.
