The MKIV Supra in the late 90s/early 2000s was definitely hyped but it was worth the hype. For a good amount of years, it was the king of the road (I would say up until 2010, then the GTR took over). For those fortunate to get one, it was relatively easy and cheap to mod.

Apr 10, 2024 · The crazy thing about the SW20 mr2s is they’re in a lot of cases fetching higher than 30k themselves. Good to see these cars getting the love they deserve, but damn, I can’t not get sticker shock anymore. If I hadn’t bought my mkiv in 04 there’s zero chance I’d have one now.

Jan 3, 2022 · My 94 TT was originally auto, swapped to R154 with Marlin Crawler billet and chromoly parts. Driftmotion extended the shifter housing/retainer 4-3/4" to line up with a MKIV. Hardest part was swapping the tunnel. I opted to do a full panel replacement and it was a hell of a lot of work. Interior and dash had to come out.

Dec 27, 2014 · In the 90s, A80 is the most aesthetically unappealing out of the five JDM heros- NSX, RX7, Supra, 3000GT and GTR. The A80 looks bloated and looks ordinary next to the other 4s. I test drove a 280hp JDM version back in 98 and it doesn't feel as sporty as the 245hp MR2 GTS so I ended up buying the MR2 instead. Looks heaps sportier too.
