Outstanding professional development workshops for IB educators in the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP) We expanded the start times of our remaining 2025 virtual workshops to better serve IB educators across North America’s 6 ½ time zones.

IB MYP Workshops Each year, you have 5 separate chances to enhance your staff’s IB professional development with CASIE — twice in the Summer (June and July) and three times when school is in session (October, February, and March).

Our online & in-person workshops cover all four of the IB’s programmes of study: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), and the Career Programme (CP).

Autumn workshops are mainly for teachers new to the IB MYP & DP (Cat 1). Spring workshops are mainly for more experienced IB MYP & DP teachers (Cat 2).

Workshops will be conducted in the language specified. Participants’ command of the teaching language must be such as to allow for full and unaided participation. All of our online workshops are of 4 week duration and require a minimum 16 hours of workshop time.

Oct 11, 2024 · This workshop will provide concrete strategies to assist teachers in creating a learning culture that connects cognitive and constructivist learning theories to MYP real-world assessment practices. Effective teaching is a process, not a technique, and is rooted in authentic assessment practices.

This mandatory requested workshop provides schools with a consistent knowledge base across all staff and acts as a specific launch point for MYP practice. The workshop spans one full day (six hours of instruction) with two sessions in the morning and two sessions in the afternoon.
