    To kick off the renovations, in March 2012, The Frick Collection moved into the Marcel Breuer–designed building at 945 Madison Avenue. The building once held housed the Whitney Museum of American Art and then a selection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s modern and contemporary collection. It’s known as Frick Madison.
