Head counselors are demigods in charge of their cabin as well as all their half-siblings (if they have any as some cabins have only one person) at Camp Half-Blood. They choose their activities, go to Senior Council meetings, lead them to meals, and do Cabin Inspections.

Tbh, Apollo cabin was the cannon fodder of PJO. Read how the Apollo kids are described in the first book…and then the last. Goes from one of the most populous with the most older kids to the senior camper being 13. Actually Hephaestus cabin is tied with it. And yes I am aware that this post is dead I just don’t care.

Jun 14, 2020 · Usually try and re-read PJO and HoO once a year or every other year. As long as I’ve read the books I’ve never really felt confident in which Godly parent fits me best. I’ve taken a bunch of tests and have gotten Hermes, Apollo, and Hebe. But none of these really hit the nail on the head: Hermes - I’m not mischievous at all lol.

Most of the other Cabins wouldn’t be able to use their talents in the real world, but an Apollo demigod could become an expert poet, musician, basketball/golf player, Olympic archer, doctor etc.

Will is the first counselor of Apollo's cabin not to die in battle and to appear in a book other than that of his introduction. Oddly, Leo refers to Will as "the archer dude" in The Lost Hero, despite the fact that it has been mentioned multiple times that Will is a healer, not an archer.
