May 1, 2024 · Participants in the Race for Life on Saturday 4 May at Lydiard Park are set to raise £245,000 and remember loved ones along the way. At least 2,466 people plan to walk, jog or run the 3k, 5k,10k and Pretty Muddy Race for Life events to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

That’s why the charity is calling on men, women and children to fight back against the devastating disease by entering a Race for Life event. Money raised will help scientists find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer, helping to save more lives.
