The Clemson Tigers opened up their annual rivalry series with the South Carolina Gamecocks with a victory at home.

The South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team was swept by the No. 13 Clemson Tigers over the weekend in the Palmetto Series. It ends a previously undefeated season for Paul Mainieri's Gamecocks.

The No. 13 Tigers, who won 5-3 in Clemson last night, went up 2-0 in the rivalry series heading into Sunday’s finale at Founders Park in Columbia. It’s the first time Clemson (9-1) has won back-to-back series against USC since 2017-18.

Once again, the Clemson-South Carolina baseball series will not be available on a linear TV channel such as ESPN. The Palmetto Series is streaming only, meaning that fans will need either a cable or ESPN+ subscription in order to watch the games.

The No. 7 Tigers play in the Palmetto Series, presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery, against South Carolina this weekend.
