Federal investigators have over 150 leads in the Palisades Fire investigation, sourced from witnesses and video footage. The ATF is evaluating all evidence and has not yet determined a cause. Weather conditions in Southern California remain a concern for fire risks.

Palisades Fire initially started 10:30 a.m. Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County. It has burned 23,713 acres after being active for nine days. A crew of 5,276 firefighters has been working on site and they managed to contain 22% of the fire by Thursday morning. The blaze's cause remains under investigation.

For five consecutive days, wildfires fanned by strong winds have ravaged neighborhoods in Los Angeles, destroying more than 12,300 homes and buildings and leaving at least 16 dead. Fresh evacuations were ordered from Mandeville Canyon to the Interstate 405 freeway on Friday evening because of a flare-up of the massive Palisades Fire.

The deadly Palisades Fire that tore through coastal LA left many homes burned to the ground. But one Pacific Palisades home still standing sustained another type of damage -- getting split in half by a landslide which experts say can follow fires that destabilize the soil and ground below.

Online data indicates the 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home sold a few years ago for close to $2 million and rented for $14,000 a month.
