Lionel Messi scored two goals in Inter Miami’s 2-1 victory over Nashville SC on Saturday, extending his record-breaking streak of scoring multiple goals in a Major League Soccer game to five.

Messi has now scored a total of 16 goals in 16 MLS games for Inter Miami while also providing six assists. With the victory against Nashville, Inter Miami stand fifth on the MLS Eastern Conference table with 38 points in 19 matches.
