Crews are still struggling to get the upper hand on the two largest fires still burning. At least 25 people have died, but officials unfortunately expect that number to continue rising. Joe Moeller is live in Altadena with the latest on the ground there.

While Californians and Angelenos are experiencing a temporary reprieve from the intense wildfire danger that has plagued the region for the past nine days, the return home for thousands of evacuees remains uncertain.

Mandatory evacuation orders are still in place. As of 11:30 a.m. local time Tuesday, all areas under evacuation orders and warnings are placed on a curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. local time, according to Cal Fire.
