A Europol operation has succeeded in disrupting a pro-Russian hacktivist network accused of conducting DDoS cyber attacks on targets in Ukraine and Europe.
Europol dismantles NoName057(16), a Russian group behind DDoS attacks, arresting two and targeting over 1,000 supporters.
Investigators said they disrupted more than 100 servers used by the group, along with a "major part" of the group's main infrastructure.
Cloudflare says that, of customer‑identified DDoS attacks, competitors are behind 63% of attacks, and 5% are self‑inflicted.
