Global law firm Freshfields has signed a lease for a new headquarters in the Fannie Mae-anchored Midtown Center building at 15th and L streets in Northwest D.C.

Freshfields US LLP has signed a 117,000-square-foot lease at Midtown Center, a two-tower, 869,000-square-foot office property in downtown Washington, D.C. The global law firm will relocate its D.C.

The county’s title office could move from the basement of the courthouse to the dog shelter in the coming months.
