After their previous employer Windsurf was taken over by OpenAI, some employees are now joining Google's DeepMind team.

The move follows the website's parent company revealing plans to shift the majority of its coding to AI, joining firms like Microsoft and Google.

Besides CEO Varun Mohan, several key R&D staff of Windsurf, including co-founder Douglas Chen, have joined Google.
