A 14-year-old boy is being held responsible for at least one of several wildfires that have recently erupted in South Jersey.

Authorities are also investigating whether the Oct. 30 fire is connected to a Nov. 7 fire that consumed 375 acres.

It took firefighters several days to extinguish the roughly 52-acre wildfire.The blaze threatened 15 homes but no buildings were destroyed and no one needed to be evacuated. No roads were closed by the fire.
