Puttanesca sauce comes together easily with a few pantry ingredients like anchovies, olives, and capers, which all add robust flavor to the pasta.
For this recipe, hanger steak pairs perfectly with a hearty red wine reduction.
Stir in the red wine, tomato paste, thyme, bay leaf, olives, and capers and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let simmer briskly until the raito is reduced by half.
