The Utah Olympic Oval, built in 2001 prior to the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic games, is a 275,000 square-foot facility located 16 miles west of Salt Lake City.

The Richmond Olympic Oval is on the banks of the Fraser River, 14 kilometers (roughly 9 miles) south of downtown Vancouver. The complex is larger than a football field and seats 8,000.

Renovations include building an NHL locker room, training and treatment facilities, adding offices for coaches and staff and converting one of the ice sheets from Olympic size to meet NHL regulations.
