A new wildfire in Salt Lake County had briefly shut down all lanes of Interstate 80 due to its proximity to the highway.

As of 10:30 p.m., that first round of early returns saw Hart capture 50% of the vote for the district, which covers the southeast portion of Salt Lake County. Arthur was close behind with 49%.
