LOWELL — Apsara Jewelry on Middlesex Street was robbed at gunpoint on Monday night by a masked male intruder. No one was injured during the incident, which police said remains under investigation.

Previous to opening her store, Byrne operated Daisy Designs, a small home-based jewelry-design business. She also showed her creations at house parties and craft fairs across the state.
