Kamaru Usman gave an honest assessment of Tatiana Suarez ’s loss at UFC 312. Suarez (11-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) was battered in a unanimous decision loss to strawweight champion Zhang Weili this past Saturday in the UFC 312 co-main event at Qudos Bank Center in Sydney.

One thing I took away from UFC 300 is that the UFC is still very capable of putting together a full pay-per-view event of must-watch fights. There was not one bit of filler on that lineup. Every fight was meaningful in one way or another, and almost all of them were a ton of fun to watch.

The UFC 312 co-main event kicks off with a touch of the gloves. Suarez immediately takes the center and starts coming forward with pressure. Weili is very light on her feet as she retakes the center with a leg kick. Nice side kick for Weili but Suarez gets a body lock and she takes down the champion. Suarez immediately in side control.
