A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that recently took place in Glassport. Allegheny County Police began their investigation after a man was shot while walking up to the stairs of his apartment in the area of Monongahela Avenue and Hemlock Alley on Friday.

The Allegheny County Police Department says a man shot in the torso outside the entrance to a home on Hemlock Alley on Jan. 31. died on Feb. 2. at an area hospital.

A Glassport man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting last weekend in the borough. Allegheny County Police said they were dispatched to the 800 block of Monongahela Ave. about 7:15 p.m.
