Emergency crews are responding to a fire following an explosion at a power substation in North Fort Worth on Wednesday. The incident off Seventeen Lakes Boulevard and Henrietta Creek Road was reported at about 7:15 p.

Crews have not determined the cause of the fire and are working to restore power to affected customers, officials with Oncor said.

According to Oncor, crews are working to shut off the electricity in the area so fire crews can attack the fire.

A power substation fire in north Fort Worth, sparked by an explosion, has impacted 54 customers. Fire crews and Oncor are working to manage the situation safely, with no evacuations recommended.

The Fort Worth Fire Department says gas was connected to the explosion at the Sandman Hotel, but hasn't said it was the cause.
