EastEnders star Rudolph Walker has spoken for the first time of his despair at being homeless in the years after a costly divorce had left him broke

EastEnders star Rudolph Walker has revealed he “had absolutely nothing” while at the height of his fame. The actor, 84, who is best known for playing Patrick Trueman on the British soap, said he “didn’t have any financial means” while he was in his 70s and “nowhere to live”.

Rudolph Walker is one of Eastenders longest running stars after joining the soap back in 2001 as Patrick Trueman.
