Size - Typical piranhas are, on average, are around 13 to 25cm long, with 10 razor-sharp teeth, usually around 4mm! Piranhas, such as the Red Bellied piranha, can grow slightly larger at 35-40cm long.
Some of these bites were reportedly caused by a 4ft tambaqui fish, which is part of the red piranha family. They are known for their strong teeth and can weigh up to a whopping 100 lbs.
