Jul. 17—HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on Sunday declared Monday a statewide Code Orange Air Quality Action Day for fine particulate matter.

Smoke from the wildfires is expected to affect Pennsylvania air quality throughout Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with some possible relief Saturday, the DEP said.
