A new book traces how innovators of punk music interacted with New York School poets such as Ted Berrigan and Anne Waldman.

The performances will highlight more than 60 musicians, seven dancers and two poets. SummerFest, sponsored by Music Carolina, will run from Aug. 7-Sept. 1 at different venues in Winston-Salem.
