A section of Alabama highway was temporarily closed when an escaped kangaroo entered the roadway and caused a two-vehicle crash.

A kangaroo held up traffic and caused two vehicles to be involved in a crash on Interstate 85 in Macon County shortly before noon April 29.

Authorities in Alabama helped catch a culprit with a distinctive hopping gait, reddish-brown fur and a pouch on Tuesday after the suspect caused a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 85. Macon County Sheriff André Brunson filmed a social media live stream from the scene.
