Jennifer graduated in 1995 from Beal City (Mich.) High School and in 1999 graduated from Ferris State University in Michigan. She is a project manager at Allied Printing, Ferndale, Mich.

Ferndale city staff confirmed Monday that Jennifer Fisk-Becker, the first woman on the City Council in 15 years, was recently appointed to complete the remainder of Dan Brown’s term in office.

Suspect Donald Davis, Jr., 43, of Inkster was charged Monday in Ferndale 43rd District Court on a count of larceny in a building, a four-year felony and jailed on a $5,000, 10 percent bond.

Ferndale police said their first contact with Davis was when she was driving a U-Haul vehicle and was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Woodward Avenue in November 2022.
