Florida State announced on Friday that Clanton earned ACC Golfer of the Month honors for his performances. Clanton, a native of Hialeah, Fla., now has the chance to clinch his tour card near his hometown. Clanton said he's not trying to get ahead of himself, but acknowledged it would be "amazing" for him to pull off the feat so close to home.
