A mandatory evacuation order for Highway 314 in East Marion County has been lifted, according to the Marion County officials.

A mandatory evacuation has been issued for residents in the Silver Springs area of Marion County due to an active wildfire.

An evacuation order was issued about 7:12 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the U.S. Forest Service. The Reverse 911/Alert Marion system was activated to notify those who need to evacuate.
