Vucevic wanted to address the team after its loss Wednesday to the Hawks, and Donovan was all for him stepping up to do so.

Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan says the team’s first-round draft pick hasn’t been a part of his conversations with the front office and ownership ahead of next month’s NBA trade deadline.

With the loss, the Bulls are now 18-23 on the season, but they are still clinging to 10th place in the Eastern Conference. Chicago wants much more than another play-in tournament berth, though. Billy Donovan knows that when this team plays to their full potential, they can play with the best.

It's not the first time that Donovan has stressed that the former No. 4 overall pick needs to play with physicality and do so on a consistent basis, but it won't mean much if Williams doesn't get the message.
