The most fashionable campanula is 'Kent Belle', which hangs its deep mauve waxen bells close to the stem, instead of appearing to be ringing them wildly as the others do.

This campanula grows more upright, with the flowers sitting on top of the plant. The one-half to three-quarter-inch leaves are medium dark green with serrated edges.

Its lavender/blue flowers are delightful. Campanula: Perennial campanulas are known for their bright blue/lavender spring color. Some creep along the ground low, such as the Campanula muralis.
