Two firefighters were injured in a fire that destroyed a building at the historic California Yacht Club in Marina del Rey. The fire was reported around 11:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Admiralty Way.
The California Yacht Club’s website said the club was founded in 1922 at Wilmington Harbor near San Pedro and then relocated to Marina del Rey in the 1960s.
Crews responded around 11:30 p.m. to 4469 Admiralty Way where they found the California Yacht Club fully engulfed in flames, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
