3M acquires privately held Advanced Chemistry & Technology as the industrial conglomerate expects strong growth and demand for aerospace sealants over the next several years.

To help its vendors fill a yawning need for collision repair technicians, 3M this June opened its first purpose-built Skills Development Center at 955 Wells St., just off Phalen Boulevard in St. Paul.
