Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Tayor has made his first hire since firing four coaches following the season. On Monday, the team announced Scott Peters as their new offensive line coach and Mike McCarthy as an assistant offensive line coach.

After missing the playoffs with a second consecutive 9-8 record, the Bengals fired defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, linebackers coach James Bettcher, defensive line coach Marion Hobby, and offensive line coach Frank Pollack,

Taylor let go of defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, offensive line coach Frank Pollack, defensive line coach Marion Hobby and linebackers coach James Bettcher.

The club has underachieved, missing the playoffs for two straight seasons. During this span, Taylor is 18-16 and has failed to win close games.

DC Lou Anarumo took the fall for the team's disappointing 2024 season, but the onus now falls squarely on the head coach.

The team announced the hiring of Scott Peters as their new offensive line coach on Monday. They parted ways with Frank Pollack after the end of their season. Peters was the offensive line coach for the Patriots during the 2024 season. He spent the previous four years as an assistant offensive line coach with the Browns.
