Now, I know I can say everybody wants to have Mitch Marner on their team, but the Flyers honestly have wanted to have Mitch Marner on this team for a long time….and even explored it. And they are paying close attention to whether or not he will be re-signing into Toronto.

With his six-year, $65.41 million contract nearing its conclusion, NHL analyst Shane Seney of The Leafs Nation predicted last week that the Leafs will re-sign Marner to an eight-year, $100 million contract extension.
