Police have arrested a 39-year-old man for his suspected role in a shooting that injured three people along Cecil B. Moore Avenue in North Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

It's been almost one week since the shooting claimed the lives of three people. One of the victims is 24-year-old Azir Harris.

Maurice Hill was accused of shooting six Philly police officers during a 2019 standoff at a home in the Nicetown-Tioga section of the city.

Police are searching for whoever shot a man in Philadelphia overnight. According to police, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 10:18 p.m., police officers responded to the 5200 block of Pentridge St. after receiving reports of a person with a gun.

After the fight, the 44-year-old victim got in a car and drove east on Lehigh Avenue, then north on Front Street. The suspect, who police say was wearing a white shirt, followed.

Concerned Grays Ferry residents said that the Ring camera video from the shooting, showing multiple people firing guns, was hard to watch.

After the sentencing, Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn told reporters Justin Mohn had exhibited a “complete and utter lack of remorse,” calling it an “unimaginable, unfathomable crime.”

Several rounds of gunfire went off in Philadelphia's Kingsessing neighborhood Thursday night, leaving a 34-year-old man injured.
