Nintendo has revealed that it will be delisting a retro game from its Nintendo Switch Online lineup for the first time in the service's history.

The official game page for Super Soccer on the Switch Online SNES service notes how this title will be removed from the Switch Online library on 27th March 2025 ( or 28th March, depending on your location ). The title is listed as a Spike Chunsoft-licensed release.

Today, Nintendo announced via a post on social media that 1991 SNES football game Super Soccer will be pulled from the Japanese Nintendo Switch Online catalogue in a month's time, on 28th March. No reason was given for the removal.

We’ve become used to the slow addition of Nintendo classics to the Nintendo Switch Online service since it launched in 2018, but some subscribers will apparently lose access to an old-school game on March 28.
