A rarely activated amber weather warning is set to come into force in hours - and is horizontally placed across England by the Met Office.

The Met Office has issued a weather warning as heavy rain is set to hit Merseyside. The yellow weather warning is in place from midnight on Sunday, September 22 to 25.59pm the same day.
