ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two people are being detained after a robbery at M&T Bank on Waring Road. Rochester Police responded to the alarm just after 9 a.m. at the bank. They say at least one person went into the bank, made threats, and stole cash. No one was injured.

Police are investigating a reported robbery at the M&T Bank on Hoosick Street in Troy just before noon Monday.

Two people were charged in a bank robbery on Waring Road Monday morning. According to the Rochester Police Department, a hold-up alarm was activated at the M&T Bank on Waring Road. Bank employees told investigators the suspect came into the bank and held a note against the window claiming he had a bomb and to hand over money.
