Seven years after gracing Warrior Field in North Turlock with his rising fastball and stellar secondary slider-splitter combination, Joe Ryan will be taking his talents to Truist Park in Atlanta, Ga.

After being snubbed over the weekend despite some very impressive numbers, Twins pitcher Joe Ryan was slowly starting to feel at peace with not being selected to compete in the All-Star Game. Never mind that he believed that he had more than earned the right to pitch next week in the Midsummer Classic alongside his peers.

According to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, the Red Sox are monitoring the market to see if Joe Ryan could be acquired in a trade.
