The feature lets iPhone users turn the Apple logo on the back of their device into a secret button. ‘Back Tap’ is not on by default and therefore requires iOS users to set it up manually.

That Apple logo, present on the backside of the iPhone since its inception in 2007 isn’t quite centered. It actually sits closer to the top end of the phone, almost like the title of a book.

An iPhone 4 mod sets the Apple logo on your phone aglow whenever the screen lights up, much as the logo on a MacBook lights up when opened. From the pictures, it looks pretty slick.
