Roads are expected to remain slippery to snow covered early this afternoon before improiving later tonight; more snow will be possible later this week.

We’re watching a cool airmass dropping down from Canada that will send waves of showers inland through the middle of the week. Some showers may turn into light snow in the lowlands during the coldest parts of the day.

After ending January with mild weather (even record-breaking at times), our first full week of February is going to feel & look more like Winter. In fact, we are starting out the week with a First Alert Weather Day (FAWD) this morning due to snow on the morning commute.
