RTD gave notice to Greyhound on Sept. 1 that it intends to terminate an agreement that allows the use of Denver's Union Station underground bus concourse.

The Regional Transportation District said it intends to end an agreement that allows Greyhound to use Denver Union Station's underground bus concourse late next Summer.

RTD said issues "have negatively contributed to RTD's operations," leading them to terminate the agreement when it expires.

RTD says long layovers from the private bus service have led to crowding and loitering at the downtown hub. In 2020 Greyhound sold its downtown station near 19th and Curtis Street
