St. Helens High School’s principal and the district’s superintendent were placed on leave on Friday, following a bombshell sex abuse scandal resulting in the arrest of two teachers at the school earlier this week.

The St. Helens school board will hold an emergency meeting Friday to consider placing Superintendent Scot Stockwell on paid administrative leave after this week’s arrest of two St. Helens High School teachers who are accused of sexually abusing multiple students over the course of several years.

Mark Collins, a former teacher, has been indicted on 2 counts of sexual abuse in the 2nd degree and 1 count of attempted sexual abuse in the 2nd degree.
