James Gunn's Superman movie is still months away from its theatrical release, but the DC Studios boss already has a big update on his next DCU film.

There you have it. While he was really hustling while directing Superman, it sounds like he's able to successfully write while balancing other responsibilities as the head of the studio. Of course, now I jut want to know what writing project he's in the process of pre-writing.

James Gunn says a new opening for DC Studios‘ Elseworlds projects is currently being developed. Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU kicked off this past December with the animated Creature Commandos series. They will follow that up with Superman,

Lex Luthor will be the main villain of James Gunn's Superman. While I'm looking forward to Nicholas Hoult's portrayal, I'm also a little worried.

James Gunn is hard at work creating the new DCU, and after David Corenswet's Superman movie and Peacemaker season 2, he already has a new DC project.
