South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is putting up a desperate fight for his political life at Seoul’s Constitutional Court after being impeached and arrested for his short-lived imposition of martial law last year.

South Korea’s Constitutional Court will hold another hearing next week before deciding whether President Yoon Suk Yeol should be permanently removed from office for his ill-fated martial law declaration in December.

SEOUL: South Korea's suspended President Yoon Suk Yeol blamed the "malicious" opposition for his decision to declare martial law, telling a court on
