Scottish fold cats are an absolutely adorable cat breed. However, the same genetic mutation that causes those cute folded ears can cause health problems, too.

The film features a Scottish Fold cat, a breed the animal organisations said suffers from painful degenerative joint disease, which has “far-reaching and severe consequences for their health”.

The video, shared on TikTok on November 8, under the username Dr.andreeahueci, shows the Scottish fold changing its facial expression after realizing it could breathe properly after the nose surgery.
