Residents of McLean Lake Road in Whitehorse have won a five-year legal battle Tuesday with the city to stop a concrete plant owner from building a plant and gravel quarry in their neighbourhood.

McLean Lake residents have long argued that there is no economic or practical reason to put a concrete plant in their area. They worry it may affect the environment and groundwater quality.
