KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 — The excitement of returning to one’s hometown for Raya starts weeks before the journey, as plans are made and the countdown to balik kampung intensifies.

Ms Isra Fiqa and her family were among more than 2,000 residents at a Hari Raya Aidilfitri event at integrated development Kampung Admiralty yesterday afternoon.
