An Arkansas police officer is being hailed for springing into action to save a boy who had fallen through the ice at a frozen pond in Jonesboro Sunday morning.

The boy was checked out at a local hospital and is expected to be okay. An Arkansas police officer rescued a 10-year-old boy who fell through a frozen pond.
